Information for patients and referrers about Covid-19 vaccination status
From 3rd December, New Zealand transitions into the Traffic Light system to manage the spread of Covid-19 in our community. We are letting you know about our practice is operating at this time.
We acknowledge vaccination is not possible for some of our patients and for others to exercise their right to choose. We may have immunosuppressed patients in the clinic, as well as children not able to be vaccinated.
Continuing to ask everyone about their health status on entering the clinic. ie are you experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 or have been in contact with anyone else with symptoms or who are being tested for Covid.
Offering telehealth sessions (video conferencing) for patients who have Covid-like symptoms or who are self isolating at home.
Including a vaccination status question on our consent form. This enables our staff to make informed decisions about PPE and mask use. We may ask you to wear mask during your session.
Having Covid-19 tracker and contact tracing options available, to be used by everyone who enters.
Reducing numbers in the waiting room – by asking that you wait in your vehicle until your allocated treatment time, and asking that you try to minimise the number of family/whanau that attend with you.
Reinforcing hand hygiene and social distancing measures – please use hand sanitizers available
Continuing with an increased cleaning regime in the clinic, as we have done during levels 2 and 3.
Thank you
If you have any questions or concerns, please ask to speak to one of our Directors – Alison Wilding, or Kevin Deng 03 349 3388
