Karyn has post-graduate training in both manipulative therapy and acupuncture. Her particular interest in hand therapy is in sports injuries, fractures, post-surgical therapy and treating children. Karyn likes to empower patients to take control of their upper limb injury through a thorough understanding of their condition and how to manage it – particularly by using effective exercises and comfortable splints.
Karyn has been working in partnership with Alison since 2010 building In Touch Hand Therapy’s bustling, boutique clinics. Alison and Karyn are proud to be the first Hand Therapy practice in Canterbury to gain practice accreditation status in 2019 which recognises the clinic’s quality, safety and service provision.
When not at work Karyn tries to keep her family busy and organised (!) and will be outdoors when she can hiking and biking. Gym classes keep her fit but her favourite thing is drinking billy tea while taking in the view at the top of a hill.
