Carina Magtibay
- Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the Philippines in 2019.
- Special interests in upper limb rehabilitation, hand therapy, and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Before moving to New Zealand in 2024, Carina worked for several years in the Philippines, gaining experience in musculoskeletal, home health, and community physiotherapy. After relocating, she began her physiotherapy career in Ashburton, working in private musculoskeletal practice. She has since moved to Christchurch, where she is focusing on developing her skills and working towards becoming a registered Hand Therapist.
Carina also contributes as a content volunteer with Physiopedia, where she helps review and create physiotherapy education resources in collaboration with clinicians from around the world.
Outside of work, Carina enjoys long walks, hiking, swimming, and crocheting.
